studying Computer Science or Mathematics.

We are planning the following services:

# '''Riot'''  (Chat)
# '''Jitsi'''  (Video Conference)

We are already planning for '''CodiMD''' and thinking about others.

Systems for Students

To ease studying and communicating in these times, we decided to provide some services for our students.

  1. Riot (Chat)
  2. CodiMD (Collaborative editing)
  3. Jitsi (Video Conferences)
  4. Mumble (VoIP Chat - mumble://mumble.fs-infmath.uni-kiel.de)

Note: As of now (2020-04-07), the services can unfortunately only be accessed by students of computer science (or others with an account at the department of computer science).

Students with an IfI-Account will be able to use it to authenticate for the services. We are currently looking into solutions for mathematics students, as they will likely not have such an account.

For the operation of these services we are being provided Virtual Machines by the Institute for Computer Science as such we want to thank them for their contribution.
