Welcome to the main page of the Student Associations of Computer Science & Mathematics at Kiel University!

Here you have access to information for prospective and current students (at the top) and current notices (at the bottom), as well as job offers (on the right).

Our meetings take place during the lecture period each Monday at 18:00 in LMS 2 Ü2/K. New people are always welcome. (New Members).

Orientation Days (OE)

As every year we will do orientation days (German: Orientierungs Einheit) for freshmen students. The orientation days will presumably take place on the 22nd and 23rd of October. This event will mainly be in German. We will use this Zoom-Room. Meeting ID: 871 7665 7064 Passcode: 580345

Day 1

We will begin setup approximately 10 Minutes prior to the official start1. We will then start by explaining the Timetable of the event followed by the Professors presenting themselves. Next we will go over the University-System and Technical Services. Before we will go into the break we will go into the first break we will form Groups for the socializing and will give each Group a Breakout-Room. After the break we have prepared some Ice-Breakers for the socializing.

At 18 o'clock our Gamesnight will start, given the current circumstances this will be online as well and take place on Discord. For the Gamesnight we will divide based on Games rather than fixed groups.

Day 2

The second day will begin with the presentation of prepared informational presentations regarding the planning of your studies. After the live presentations there will be time for some recorded informational Videos2. Next up are simultaneous presentations one for students studying for 1-Subject CS and one for students studying for a teachers degree. Next we will present the student association and explain what it is that we are doing. If there is demand we will follow with a Question Round, obviously question are possible and welcome at anytime. As the finale we currently planning online escape room in small groups.

Exam-protocols, Exams, Scripts and Theses


To make it easier for you to study for written and oral exams, we have collected Protocols/Examinations and Scripts that were sent to us by fellow students. You can also find theses by other students to get an idea of what such look like.

This collection depends on you getting involved and sending us new exams, transcripts, scripts, and theses. So don't be shy: accepts everything! There is chocolate as a reward!
